Phase 2 is to:
- Change some proprietary hardware to white-box devices[1]
- Continue replacement of proprietary communication protocols and data models with vendor-neutral alternatives
Main expected outcomes:
- Disruptive attack on hardware prices
- Replacement of some building blocks (data models, automation tools, scripts, controllers, etc.) with vendor-neutral or less expensive alternatives
