Phase 3 is to:
- Expose (end-to-end) transport SDN services for external (to transport SDN network) consumption
Main expected outcomes:
- New ways to provide dynamic on-demand services and optimize current network
- Applications on top of SDN controllers manage more devices from different vendors
Phase 3 is the final transition phase planned for now – the architecture shown below is the same as shown above (“Target architecture for SDN transport”).
